Complex Building | Studio no.4

The project examines the idea of removing the circulation from inside the building to the public space. The presence of the circulation in the public space creates a feeling of activity and movement which is lacking in Rishon LeZion who has lost many of its characteristics and vividness. The project examines this idea in two situations: in the residential building and in the public building. While in the residential building the circulation needs to be efficient and functional, so it is organized and practical in the public building, that I offer to function as a dance school, the movement is free and rich. The building is located in a central area, so the presence of the circulation in this area is important. The stairs inside the building are mostly curved, coming out of the floor and connecting to a new floor. The stairs create points of view from the outside to the interior of the building, from one studio to the other studio below it, or from the lobby to the public space outside.
