"The National Anthem” is an installation that changes according to the audience in the room. This work uses a live camera circuit to project the viewers characters on the gallery walls, reacting to their movement and creating a new video painting every second. The sound is layered with a base loop, and different found sounds of people crying in funerals from Israel and Gaza in the ongoing war. The work also includes a hostess seated at the entrance, marking viewers with a stamp bearing the artwork’s title before they enter.
