Arbaat el Film

Through four films from different regions of the Arab world, this project explores coming-of-age moments marked by rupture—between childhood and adulthood, and between self and society. It stems from a personal bond with my grandmother, who raised me on a culture and language I later set aside. After her passing, I began reconnecting through film and music, searching for a part of my identity I had once abandoned.
