Between the Words

Language is not merely an instrument of communication – it is a key element of our personal and cultural identity. Simultaneously, it both reflects and shapes how we perceive the world, ourselves, and our place within society. In this personal project, I explore the role of language in identity and belonging through a collection of experiences reflecting the arduous and sometimes humorous journey of acquiring Hebrew as a new language and Israeli as a new identity.
