In my project, I reinterpret Palestinian heritage – particularly the traditional dress, the Thobe – into a contemporary visual language that merges jewelry, technology, and art. I deconstructed symbols of embroidery, colors, and traditional designs. I reassembled them into three unique pairs of glasses: one for women who wear the Hijab, one for those who don’t, and a third radical design that rests directly on the nose, shaped with personal features that reflect my identity. I also created a pendant adorned with a carved Palestinian lira, and an open shoulder chain that embraces the body as an extension of memory. The work balances precision and delicacy, raising a fundamental question: How can heritage become a living body in our time?
