Clarity

At the bottom of every well lies a moon, some try to catch it. An excess of light can obstruct vision—light floods, fills, and unifies. It prevents us from moments of discovery. These are possible only under the cover of darkness. The works in the exhibition seek to capture moments in which the event is visible only in the direction of a spotlight. A single ray illuminates a specific event. The gaze lingers on the places that are almost never seen. Reality becomes a photograph, and it—a painting. Trapped in every darkness there is brightness.
