Cold Hands
A dark comedy exploring a clash between personal loss and social networks.
Ikki's grandmother died, leaving behind a pair of old hands. Ikki refuses to deal with her grief and embarks on a harrowing journey through advertisements, packages, screens, and giant bones. This experimental animated short blends surreal imagery, dark humor, and commercial aesthetics to explore how we process pain in a culture obsessed with productivity and positivity. With a fluid, dreamlike structure, the film doesn’t follow a traditional plot — instead, it invites viewers into a strange emotional landscape that feels both distant and deeply personal. It’s a meditation on mourning, memory, and the strange comfort of pretending everything is fine.
