Creative processes are often shaped by moments of uncertainty and design dilemmas –experiences that often make their way into the visual language and are reflected in the final outcome.
The project was inspired by a recurring challenge I kept facing in my work process: internal blocks in moments of decision-making, a feeling of loneliness in the encounter with the material, a sketch, or a fleeting idea. Instead of running away from it, I placed this difficulty at the heart of the research and asked: Is it possible to develop a design method that supports the unresolved moment itself?
Using myself as a case study, I created an emotional–cognitive toolkit for fashion designers facing creative dilemmas. The kit offers a safe, intuitive, and tactile space that facilitates an open dialogue between intuition and intellect, and between hand, heart, mind and GPT-based advisors.
The exhibition presents a material process guided by semi-random instructions generated through an ongoing dialogue with the chat interface. The kit does not dictate answers, but sparks movement, cultivates curiosity, and validates the search as a design value in itself.
From within the not-knowing – a new language emerged.
