Many who embrace alternative lifestyles see the modern world as the antithesis of a meaningful life - shallow, materialistic, disconnected. They choose simplicity, minimalism, community, and closeness to nature and spirit. But what about those who didn’t choose this life, those who were born into it? This film follows the voices of people who, like me, grew up in alternative homes in Israel, exploring the gap between parental ideals and the reality their children experienced.
