Ramla is the best model for shared living in a mixed city. What factors contributed to the evolution of this model? What is its history? Who are its communal and spatial agents? “Genius Ramla” is an attempt to trace, characterizes, and study, across different scales, the unique urbanism of Ramla, which for centuries has oscillated between thriving and collapsing, between a stopover on the road to Jerusalem and an administrative capital. The project strives to join the current reality in Ramla as an additional and delicate layer.
