GEREM: Monolith 3D-Printed Concrete Staircase

3D concrete printing is an emerging and green technology. Economical in material, time, and molds, this technique also offers personalization and geometric freedom in creating innovative, complex, and dynamic designs. The project presents the design and fabrication of a 3D-printed concrete staircase, embodying simplicity and functionality. During the printing process, the material is stacked in layers, in a weaving-like process. The project showcases the introduction of this technology into the domestic space and demonstrates how it can be used as an integral part of the world of construction, architecture, and interior design.
