Home Frontline

A short animated film that closely follows the experiences of women whose partners are repeatedly called to reserve duty, while they hold the home together as the world around them destabilizes. Inspired by a letter my grandfather wrote to my grandmother during the Yom Kippur War, the film echoes his reflections on war, the state, and society. His words, written over fifty years ago, still resonate—raising the question: Do we truly learn from the past, or do we forget, carry on, and end up in the same place again? Mentored by: Amitay Gilad, Sharon Etgar
