Jewelry Foraging Accessories for Creating Jewelry from Urban Nature Foraging

The project responds to the longing to explore nature, observe beauty, and decorate oneself with it, with a range of tools for foraging and jewelry-making in urban nature. Each object in the series is a tool used for processing the natural materials. The series also includes quick fasteners, helping foragers to adorn themselves with the items they gathered right away. The practice of foraging encourages taking a break and contemplating. The perishable jewelry confronts us with its social and symbolic nature as timeless creations, and with the natural decay of the leaf, flower, and stone as they become jewelry with an expiration date.
