Then comes Friday, and with the sunset my dear wife welcomes Shabbat. The blessing over the wine, with my Kiddush cup, is an eternally personal moment. I'm captivated by the purple darkness, encircled in silver. To gently hold the funnel and feel the abundance flowing from above to below. Take a deep breath – and sanctify life. The garments I create are part of an ongoing, joyful process – a search for form and expression. Clothing born of the synagogue, from both the men's and women's sections. I design for us, thanks to everyone that contributed to the fashion of humanity – and in honor of Jerusalem. Materials: Wool, cotton, nylon, rubber, leather. Working techniques: Reconstruction, pattern making, sewing.
