Liv doesn’t wait

“Liv Can’t Wait” is a graphic novel born out of the difficulty to wait. Its protagonist is Liv, whose inability to wait leads her to absurd acts. The format, materials and mode of operation make for a physical experience of different senses of time: linear as opposed to quality time. This work was created in 2025 – a year of wars: out of a reality of chronic uncertainty, we ask what is control over time. The visual and theoretic research leading up to the project dealt with different philosophies of time. Like Liv, the book subverts its conservative nature, thereby approximating the absurd.
