Memory
Every morning of my childhood at my grandmother’s house, the scent of the taboon oven filled the air. Vegetables were cooked with love, family voices echoed from the yard, and the small garden bloomed.
In this project, I created ceramic vegetables with plant imprints resembling those my grandmother grew. The tiles remind me of the oven floor. Through material, texture, and scent, I connect past to present.
This work brings childhood to life — not just as memory, but as a tangible feeling. I invite the viewer to feel that simple, warm time again.
