Momentum is a digital platform designed to help parents of children aged 6-10 cope with their anxiety and fear, aligning with the healthcare system’s shift towards preventive rather than reactive care. Due to high stress levels and limited access to emotional health counseling, Israeli parents feel helpless in facing everyday challenges. Even though childhood fears are natural, inadequate coping strategies can worsen them to the point where professional intervention is necessary. How can we meet the needs of parents whose children do not require therapy but can still benefit from reliable tools for independent emotional support strategies?
Using a human-centered design approach, the research involved in-depth interviews, user journey mapping, and pain point analysis, revealing hidden needs and key intervention points. Persona development and ideation led to concepts tested via prototypes, exploring trust in personalized experiences.
The result is Momentum, a new service model integrating AI, personalization, and psychologist-verified content. It offers practical tools and accessible psychoeducation, independent of professional availability or cost. Momentum provides a trustworthy, always-available resource for everyday childhood anxieties, bolstering children’s resilience, easing parental anxiety, and restoring parents’ sense of control.
