מקום הבראה
The project examines how rest – once a collective and organized practice manifested in places like sanatoriums and convalescent homes – has become divided, commercialized, and regulated in contemporary culture. By examining an Israeli convalescent home, the work explores the spatial, ideological, and sensory systems that shape our ability to rest today. The architectural intervention proposes a different form of rest: slow, non-productive, and free from supervision – like a silent protest against a world that no longer allows us to stop.
