Not everyone who sees the sun perceives the light
My artistic journey began from a deep need for survival, a search for a light not seen by the eye but felt by the heart, following the saying: "Not everyone who sees the sun perceives the light." I found in ceramics an honest way to express complex emotions, drawing inspiration from rich Palestinian heritage symbols like the straw plate and traditional embroidery, for the stories and identity they carry. I developed a technique blending clay with cardboard to simulate straw, making my works spaces of contemplation where craft intersects with dream, and heritage with self.
