Shulchan Aruch

It is commonly believed that food is only perceived through the taste buds. In fact, studies have shown that food is a multisensory experience - color, texture, smell, and the accompanying sound all play a role in shaping how we experience taste. Based on these insights, the project presents a dinnerware set that enhances the participation of all five senses in the meal. The use of dinnerware creates a distinct dining experience, not by altering the menu or ingredients, but by drawing attention and awareness to everything that’s happening on the plate. This creates a meal where the dinnerware is as significant as the contents.
