Sky's Glow
"Sky’s Glow״ is a short animated film that bridges two points in time: a letter written in 1948 by Zohara Levitov, on the eve of Israel’s founding, and my own personal feelings in the present day. Her words — filled with confusion, pain, and fragile hope — echo emotions I, too, carry as someone raised with deep love and connection to this land. The project explores a sense of inner rupture: How do we stay connected to a place we love when we also feel fear, alienation, and doubt? Zohara’s letter becomes an anchor, a mirror, and perhaps a quiet reminder that we don’t have to choose between love and critique, between belonging and sorrow.
