Tel Bata

In the heart of Karmiel city, next to the house where I grew up, lies a small city-enclosed natural area called Tel Bata. Between the dense grasses hide stories from ancient times, faded memories, and many more treasures buried underground waiting to be discovered—a whole world that we tend to overlook. The project brings together archiological findings and documentation of Tel Bata from the Byzantine period to present day, and through an online scrolling format invites readers to learn the story of this place.
