Transition time
I carry a fear of losing home.
Photographs of objects from the domestic space blur the line between the sacred and the mundane.
Can an action or an everyday object, by being embedded in glass, transform into something ritualistic and almost sacred?
A bed, a belly, a window, a sink—imprinted as images on glass surfaces.
They hang in space, float, exist and yet do not, their transparency allowing for fusion and the creation of a new place.
I am growing up and reality is shifting; the safe home may no longer be safe, nor the only home.
Is it time to say goodbye and leave?
Is it time to create a new home?
